Produced for the first time in 2011, The TX Tough 250 bike ride included 250 of Dallas’s most influential business people, political leaders and philanthropists, all of whom committed to riding from from Austin to Dallas to collectively raising $1 million dollars to benefit Children’s Medical Center. In 2012 the Peloton Club will carry on that legacy.
The Peloton Club riders are participating in the Pro Peloton Package and will enjoy all of the benefits from the Ambassador Club in 2011.
Join the TX Tough 250 and the Peloton Club in 2012, and make a difference in the lives of kids in our community. Live for the Ride!
Passion for Children's, a 501c(3) non-profit organization, was started in 2007 with the sole purpose of creating, implementing, and supporting grassroots fundraising programs to exclusively benefit Children's Medical Center, Dallas & Legacy campuses.
Passion for Children's campaign is fully underwritten by event registration fees, corporate and private sponsorship. 100% of money raised by campaign fundraisers, and received by PFC, is given directly to Children's Medical Center.
Children's Medical Center is a private, not-for-profit, and one of the largest pediatric healthcare providers in the nation. Children's is the only academic heathcare facility in North Texas and is the only pediatric level one trauma center in the Southwest. Children's serves over 400,000 children each year, with more than 50 specialty programs. Children’s has never turned away a patient for their inability to pay, and will provide more than $60 million in compensated care this year.
